Accommodation

There are many hotels in Budapest, but since July is well in the tourist season, you are advised to book your room as early as possible, in particular because cheap accommodation in some good location is difficult to find. Our recommendations are the following:

 

 

The official conference hotel is Hotel Benczúr (www.hotelbenczur.hu) and it is the conference site itself. We have the following special rates available here:

Hotel Benczúr is next door to the Research Institute for Linguistics, H.A.S. It is located in a quiet street (Benczúr utca), 2 mins. walk from Hõsök tere (Heroes’ Square).

The hotel has an excellent location (5 mins. from the conference site) and good rooms, but it is a bit on the noisy side.

Beds N’ Roses is located at the back of the famous Operaház (Opera of Budapest), and it is approx. 20 mins. (4 metro stations) from the conference site.
