About the Linguistic Politeness Research Group (LPRG)
The Linguistic Politeness Research Group was established in 1998 in order to bring together
scholars working in the area of linguistic politeness.
The group has a mailing list that includes academics and postgraduate students from around the world who receive information about relevant conferences, seminars, meetings, and new publications.
Regular meetings of the LPRG management group are held at one of the founding institutions in England and minutes are posted to the list. Research meetings are also announced from time to time, which are open to all members.
