The 25th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Chinese Linguistics (IACL 25) is hosted jointly by the Research Institute for Linguistics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and Eötvös Loránd University. The meeting will be held in Budapest, Hungary, June 25-27, 2017.

  • Preliminary program of the conference (May 24)

The deadline for presenters to pay up IACL membership fees is May 15. Those who do not pay the annual fee in time will not appear in the program and cannot present their paper!

The   Consul General of the Embassy of Hungary in Beijing, and the Consuls of the Consulates General of Hungary in Shanghai and Chongqing have jointly granted the acceptance of PRINTED ELECTRONIC COPIES of the Letters of Invitation issued by the organizers of IACL-25, for visa application. This means that PRC citizens applying for entry visa to Hungary with the purpose of attending the IACL conference do NOT need ORIGINAL copies of the letter -- they may use the printouts of the official invitation letters sent by e-mail as PDF attachments by the organizing committee.

We have sent out all acceptance/rejection notifications. If you have not received it, please send a mail of inquiry to iacl25@nytud.hu . The official letters of invitation are being sent out now: you should receive the eletronic version by Wednesday (April 12).
