The HuComTech project run by the Image Processing Group of Debrecen and the Department of Applied Linguistics at the University of Debrecen is organising a Workshop on Multi-Modal Human-Computer Interactions in October 21-22 Debrecen, Hungary. The aim of the workshop is to present the HUCOMTECH project and the results reached in the theoretical research of multi-modal human-computer interactions (image processing, speech prosody and their interface in communication theory) with tutorials and live demos.  The registration fee is 200 EUR both for students and full-time researchers, covering accommodation and meals. There is a grant available for a limited number of applicants, covering all the expenses of the event. Those interested can apply for the grant by sending a detailed curriculum vitae, letter of motivation and list of publications to Laszlo Hunyadi (hunyadi at hucomtech.unideb.hu). The grant will be awarded to the applicants selected by the organisers, based on their results in the field.
